We’re kicking off Legit Craft Club with a Christmas in July planning night at Studio 43*19 — because this is the year we stop saying “I should make that” in December and start actually making the good stuff now. This first session includes a holiday project planner to help you choose your handmade gift, decor, and creative project ideas, break them into realistic steps, and figure out what supplies, tools, and skills you’ll need along the way. You’ll leave with a clearer plan for your handmade holiday season — what you want to make, what you already have, what you need to learn, and where to start. Legit Craft Club is for grown-up makers who want regular time to create, learn, finish projects, and actually use the tools and supplies sitting in their craft rooms. We’ll work on real projects while building skills in things like mixed media, resin, machine use, handmade gifts, functional art, and creative problem-solving along the way. Basic studio supplies are included — paint, glue, brushes, paper, ephemera, and shared tools used during the session. For larger projects or specialty materials, you can bring your own supplies or use/purchase available studio materials when offered. After the kickoff, Legit Craft Club continues in August with two Tuesday evening sessions per month. Starting in September, members will be able to choose from available AM or PM Tuesday sessions as part of the basic monthly option.
